TEMPLAR

Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

This policy describes how Templar Labs ("Templar," "we," "us") handles information when you visit tplr.ai, use the tools on this site, or interact with our accounts on social platforms. We build training infrastructure for machine learning; collecting personal data is not our business, and we keep what we do collect to a minimum.

Information we collect

  • Site usage. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrers, country, device type). It does not use cookies and does not identify or track individual visitors across sites.
  • Chat. If you use the chat feature on this site, the messages you type are sent to our model-serving infrastructure to generate a response. We do not store chat conversations in a database; transient operational logs may retain message content briefly for debugging and abuse prevention.
  • Email you send us. If you contact us (for example about careers or press), we receive whatever you choose to send and use it only to respond.
  • Staff sign-in. Some pages of this site are restricted to Templar staff. For authorized team members who sign in, we process the signed-in email address and set a session cookie. These pages are not for public use.

Social platform data (LinkedIn and X)

Templar operates internal publishing tools that connect to social platforms, including LinkedIn and X, through their official APIs. These tools exist solely to publish content to Templar's own profiles and pages and to read engagement statistics for Templar's own posts (for example impressions and reactions on posts we published).

  • We do not collect, store, or sell personal data about other platform members.
  • Platform access tokens are granted by Templar team members through each platform's OAuth consent flow and are stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure that we operate. They are never shared with third parties.
  • Access can be revoked at any time from the relevant platform's settings (for example LinkedIn's "Permitted services" page), and we delete stored tokens and platform data on request or when no longer needed.
  • Our use of LinkedIn data complies with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use; our use of X data complies with the X Developer Agreement.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve this site, respond to people who contact us, publish and measure our own communications, and keep our systems secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run this site and our tools (for example Vercel for hosting and analytics, our database and model-serving providers), under agreements that limit their use of it, and where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, then delete it. Aggregate analytics contain no personal identifiers. To ask us to delete information you believe we hold about you, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us and we will honor these requests wherever applicable law provides them.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above. Questions and requests: hello@tplr.ai
